Unpolished set of two Cherries chisels which are nearly identical to the standard production tools, the only differences are that the blades are not high polished and a slightly different shaped wooden handle is used. Same steel, same forging,
same heat treating, same grinding. An economical alternative for the woodworker on a budget. Available only in this set of four chisels (10, 16, 20, and 26mm chisels), or a set of six which adds
a 6mm and 12mm chisel.
Carefully forged blades are skillfully heat treated in an immersion bath method to achieve a Rockwell hardness of 61C. This means that sharpening the chisels may take a few extra minutes to sharpen, but they will hold an edge significantly longer than almost any other chisels
