These chisels are made of the highest quality German steel. Carefully made, polished all-around. One of the finest tools made in the world! Ten to fourteen inches in overall length and fitted with a well proportioned wooden handle. A number of sets are also available as well as individual tools in 21 sizes.
Carefully forged blades are skillfully heat treated in an immersion bath method to achieve a Rockwell hardness of 61C. This means that sharpening the chisels may take a few extra minutes to sharpen, but they will hold an edge significantly longer than almost any other chisels! After heat treating, the blades are polished to a rich finish that makes them a joy to use. Fitting appropriate handles is the final step in producing these highest quality German chisels.
