Suikaen brings over 500 years of traditional craftsmanship to every piece. As one of the few remaining workshops in Japan producing fully handmade tea ceremony utensils, they use locally harvested bamboo and time-honored techniques rooted in chadō (the Japanese Way of Tea). Now led by 25th-generation master craftsman Tanimura Yasaburo, the workshop continues its legacy of meticulous, chemical-free production—ensuring each tool is as pure as the tea rituals it supports.
